We moved long distance from Dargaville (Northland) to Taumarunui, NZ. 3 movers on the first day (pick up) on 11th March 2024. Happy (the Lead mover), Sherry and Harry. We were very impressed with the friendly and helpful service, they went extra miles for us too when I asked to rearrange the furniture and did so gladly. Especially like Happy who is professional in his communication, very careful and diligent. The entire move went smoothly, nothing lost, nothing broken.

I gave them the biggest tip I ever gave in my life. Well done KiwiMovers!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5000

Absolutely shocking customer service. They will take no responsibility for damage to your items or your house. After trying to complain in person we were greeted with hostility and denial even with photo evidence. After emailing my complaint through they tried to blame everything on me and “restated accounts of the move” that were completely fabricated and blatantly lied. Take the warning and spend the money and get a reputable company who know the meaning of customer service.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $400

The movers were delayed due to a truck breakdown. The movers that eventually arrived 3 hours later were exhausted - exhausted movers work VERY slowly and when you are paying by hour for a service, slower movers=more expensive. Due to this they were only able to complete a small part of the move as they had another job to get to. Consequently we had to rush around finding trailers and people to complete a job we had employed them to do.
Tried to contact them about the issue and they seemed resistant to get back to me and the eventual reply was snarky and inaccurate.
Don't waste your money - hire more expensive movers that will actually complete the job in a shorter time frame which will end up being cheaper overall.
